10809NAT – Course in Electrician – Minimum Australian Context Gap
Our 10809NAT Course in Electrician- Minimum Australian Context Gap training provides a pathway to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) which is equivalent to the UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician to achieve an unrestricted Australian Electrical licence.
This course is exclusively designed for overseas workers with an electrical background in cabling, lifts or general who wants to move to Australia and gain a relevant licence for employment. The short course provides you with the training and assessment of six core competency standard units and one elective competency standard unit, required knowledge for Australian standards and skill components through online training as well as face-to-face practical demonstrations and observation.
Entry requirements
Language, Literacy & Numeracy
Applicants must undertake a language, literacy and numeracy assessment during their induction session prior to beginning the qualification. Results will be assessed on an individual level by the assessor.
Depending upon the level of support required for the language, literacy or numeracy an alternative training and assessment methods may be used or the learners will be recommended to pursue Foundation Skills program, which will help them fulfil the LLN gap and achieve the qualification.
Course structure
eProfiling – To get the certificate, you need to complete 12 months of eProfiling. It will count from the day of “L Licence” issued.

Course delivery
The short course provides you with the training and assessment of six core competency standard units and one elective competency standard unit, required knowledge for Australian standards and skill components through online training as well as face-to-face practical demonstrations and observation.
Learners will have the option to complete their assessments online through Cloud Assess, Frontier’s online learning platform.
Attendance is mandatory to obtain a certificate of completion.
Course Duration
The structured training are a 155 hours course which will be on Saturdays between 9 am and 5 pm for 8 weeks.

Fee Refund Policy
Any fees paid prior to the commencement of a course are refundable upon withdrawal from the course minus the administration charge.
