Important Message: How to Identify Forged Frontier Qualification Certificates
At Frontier Institute of Technology, we take immense pride in delivering high-quality vocational training that equips our students with the skills they need for a successful career. However, we have recently become aware of fraudulent activities where individuals are forging our certificates. This not only undermines the credibility of our programs but also poses a serious threat to the integrity of the entire vocational training sector.
To our students, we want to assure you that we are taking strict measures to combat this issue. Your hard work and dedication deserve to be recognized, and we will not allow counterfeit certificates to diminish the value of your achievements. To other registered training organizations and potential employers, we urge you to be vigilant when verifying Frontier Institute of Technology certifications.
For those who have received forged certificates from agents or others posing to be representing Frontier, your qualification is unfortunately not valid. To avoid this in the future please be mindful of the following:
- All our representatives and staff will have an official Frontier email ID. In the event that they do not have one, make sure you call or email us to confirm. Our contact information is available on www.frontier.edu.au
- Do not make any payments to any bank account that does not belong to Frontier. Frontier will never issue an invoice as a PDF or document. You will only receive an invoice from secure sources such as our official email accounts.
Ensuring that only qualified individuals enter the workforce is essential for maintaining industry standards and safety.
How to Identify a Forged Certificate
You can identify a forged certificate easily with clear indicators on the certificate and in the transcript. We have provided images below for better understanding.
Important Note: The template for Frontier certificates change periodically. Please take note of the date of issue to ensure that the certificate matches with the template from that period.
On the certificate:
Original Frontier certificates contain all of the features mentioned below. Any certificate missing one or more of them is a forged certificate:
- Notice a visibly different logo in the forged certificate
- Our certificate includes a watermark of our official logo on the background.
- Certificate number and format is different. All Frontier certificate numbers start with CXXXXX
- There should always be a red stamp in the original. However, the red stamp is not the ONLY mark of authenticity as you see in the image above.
- The original copy contains a blue border, whereas the forged one may not have the same.
- Current Frontier certificates also contain a QR code.
In the transcript:
The transcript uses a standard format and only if all of the following are included is the certificate an original one. The forged certificates may alter one or more features of our standard format:
- We state the results as “Statement of Results” whereas forged certificates may include variations like “Records of Result”
- The logo is different from the official Frontier logo
- The transcript also includes a watermark of our official logo on the background.
- The unit code, result and unit name do not have a border/ box in our certificates.
- The transcript should include the name and qualification.
- At the bottom, the stamp includes our address
We request you to be mindful of the above. By working together, we can uphold the integrity of vocational education and protect the credibility of genuine qualifications. If you suspect a fraudulent certificate or need verification, please reach out to us directly.
