Restricted Electrical Worker’s License- Class 2 (Short Course)

Our nationally accredited training course permits you to be able to apply for a Restricted Electrical Worker’s License- Class 2. This license entitles you to carry out low voltage electrical disconnection and reconnection work relating to equipment connected to a fixed electrical installation that is associated with your primary trade, vocation or occupation that would otherwise require the services of a registered electrical contractor or licensed electrician.

This licence type only allows the disconnection and reconnection of ‘like for like’ equipment, for the purposes of repair, replacement or maintenance. The course is suitable for electrical fitters, technicians, technical officers, air conditioning and refrigeration service personnel, electric motors and non-electrical trades personnel in the plumbing and gas sector, etc who regularly need to perform work related to their prime work function.

The short course provides you with the knowledge, skills and training to apply for the licence to operate safely while disconnecting and reconnecting.
