After finishing my Diploma of Business with Frontier Training and Technology I was given the opportunity to work with Maria. For someone who hasn’t been in the workforce for 6 years I was hesitant in taking the first steps to finding a job and needed guidance. The career coach helped me rework my CV in a more effective way, provided me with resources that would help find a job and conducted a mock interview to help with my confidence in answering interview questions.

I can now say that after working with my career coach,  I now have the tools and the confidence to re-enter the workforce. Her knowledge of the work industry is current, her resources are helpful and I would recommend working with her if you are needing guidance in achieving your career pathway goals.

After I successfully completed Certificate 3 of Business Administration course, I was surprised to be invited back to Frontier Training for a job placement consultation. The career coach is very professional, has a positive attitude and great knowledge of what to do and don’t while searching for jobs or attending interviews. We sat down and went through some changes in my resume. She gave me suggestions  on how to improve my resume, helped me edit and make it sound more appealing to potential employers. Also, my career coach gave me some tips on what employers might be looking in my the field of interest and offered a practice run to improve my interview skills.

The overall experience was very positive. The career coach is very helpful and easy to work with.
